Massage Therapy has been found to reduce pain and fatigue (1) and improve time to recovery in people with chronic spinal cord injury (SCI), ALS and a host of other neurological conditions.
In association with Vital Touch Massage & Wellness, each massage is individualized to you using one or more of the following techniques:
1. Circulatory Massage
2. Deep Tissue
3. Myofascial Decompression (Cupping)
4. Hot Stone Massage
5. CBD Infused Massage
6. Manual Lymphatic Drainage
1. Circulatory Massage: incorporates long vertical and circular strokes, kneading the surface and slightly deeper muscles to increase oxygenation in the blood stream.
2. Deep Tissue: is a technique incorporating slow, deliberate strokes that focus pressure on layers of muscles, tendons and other tissue deep under the skin.
Therapy, Counseling, & EMDR
Psychologists are concerned with all of the factors in people’s lives that contribute to their wellness and recovery, from the support they receive from family and friends to the relationships they have with their team of treatment providers.
It is important to understand that to ensure the body can reach its full physical potential, it will need the assistance of a healthy and sound mind. We understand that therapy may be a little intimidating for some. At Adapt, we meet you wherever you are in your mental health journey. Whether you are experienced and looking for a new practitioner, or new to the process and just want some loose guidance, we’re here to help you. We strive to find what works for you, and not fit you into a predefined philosophy.
What is EMDR?
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy is a powerful psychotherapy approach that has helped over an estimated 2 million people of all ages relieve many types of psychological distress.
