Troy holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from San Diego State University and a Masters in Exercise Science. He is currently certified by the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and by the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as a Corrective Exercise Specialist.
Troy has more than 15 years’ experience in corporate, community, and clinical settings and has held a wide range of positions during his tenure in the industry. Prior to being a founding member of Adapt Movement, Troy spent three years at Project Walk Paralysis Recovery Centers as a Floor Supervisor and Clinical Recovery Specialist, leading the organization’s neurodegenerative disease practice. Prior to Project Walk, Troy served as a Clinical Exercise Physiologist for Tri-City Medical Center cardiac rehabilitation, while also serving as the Medical Integration Coordinator for Tri-City Wellness Center, responsible for all assessments, evaluations, and program design for specialized populations. Further, Troy continues to serve his community as a Kinesiology associate instructor for Mira Costa College and as a subject matter expert involved in curating examination content and composition for the American Council on Exercise (ACE) in San Diego.
